So since the pool in our complex is closed we thought we'd just borrow the Westin's pool next door.. We had walked around there the night before and noticed that everyone had the same towel. I remembered seeing some towels that were close in our closet. We decided to risk it. They were not quite the same but we went swimming anyways - got away with it without being questioned. Still felt a little nervous. We thought about how to get some of our own Westin Towels ... you know just borrow them while we're here. We scoped out the place as we walked back, eyeing some on the chairs by the pool, maybe bribe an employee. Allen was thinking about checking out the maintenance shack. We decided we figure out our plan of attack tomorrow.
The next morning Allen decided to see what was in the storage closet outside hoping to find an extra propane tank for the BBQ, since he left it on all night the first night we used it and ran it empty. ($26.00 to fill it up, twice the price at home!), Rhonda said she's not paying half of that blunder, but when Allen said he wouldn't BBQ for her she negotiated to pay for a fourth only. Allen was pleased and agreed to BBQ for both of them for the rest of the vacation. To his surprise when digging through the closet he ran across the best score yet... WESTIN POOL TOWELS! WHOOHOO! There were four in a brown paper sac. We thought we'd hit the lottery. Although we are still hoping for that. We have been there two nights in a row acting like we own the place. The right towels really gave us a huge confidence boost. We've enjoyed both pools and the hot tub. Haven't got the nerve up to charge a drink to our room yet...working on a room number still.. LOL...Check out the Westin Pool Cam link at the top of the blog. You may see us there in the late afternoons.. doubt you'll see us in the 9am water aerobics class.
