The second picture is our collection of nut pod things we started searching for. Rhonda started the collection about a week ago when Allen was playing nine holes at the woods course at Makai. The first picture are the nuts that we found at Hanalai bay on January 30th. After we found them we combined them and put them in Allen's pocket of his swim suit. The waves started to improve so we decided to body board, which as an aside, is rapidly becoming one of Rhonda's favorite pass times. She is actually inquiring around about a body boarding circuit where she could compete professionally LOL.
While in the ocean approximately 50 yards off shore wading in 8 to 10 foot water Allen suddenly recognized he was losing his nuts! One of the large ones was floating along side of him. Then another small one. He felt his pocket and they were all gone. Rhonda said she could keep them in her bathing suit top - probably a trick she learned at Dancin when she got cash tips. Or perhaps from her Mother who keeps her phone there for safe keeping, Allen found three total floating around and gave them to Rhonda. Rhonda found a couple more and we felt lucky to have part of our stash secure.
When we got done riding the waves Rhonda said she bet that the rest may have washed up on shore and like immediately there was one right in front of her. Allen found the other two down the shore line a bit and the universe was right again.
The best news of all is that Allen now knows Rhonda will keep his Nuts safe and secure.
