Quick trip to Oahu for some snorkeling, dinner, and shopping.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rhonda was in Oahu 2 years ago.  Allen had not been in Oahu since 1976.  The first day we drove around the entire Island and Allen was freaked. The whole thing was a big city - nothing like he had remembered.  The snorkeling was unbelievable.  Two dinners - one at Cheesecake factory and one at Hula Grill - both excellent.  Hula grill Rhonda had the Duel - a special with Mongchong and Opah.  Two of the most quality white Fish offered in Hawaii.  Allen had

Opakapaka - incredible white fish - Hawaiian snapper - Allen's new favorite.  Quick trip to Pearl Harbor and to Wiamea  national park for a 2 mile walk through botanical gardens ending at some nice waterfalls.  Had some shaved Ice at the General Store in the North Shore that Rhonda has been talking about since I met her.  It was amazing. Back to the Airport and home to Kauai.  35 Minute plane ride and the beach buggy started right up after sitting for three days.

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oahu Pictures - East Shore

 

 

A small section of Oahu's East shore is the only part of the Island that is not heavily developed.  Some absolutely beautiful crystal clear water and magnificent views.
