Booked our flights!!

Obviously the cheap stake that I am was putting this off for the best deal.  Finally pushed the button and booked the flight yesterday.  Then I noticed that Alaska has a low price guarantee policy (worrying for nothing).  So if I notice the same flight offered for less they will match it.  So I'll be checking daily.   :)

We are getting ready to set off on the adventure of our life!

It started as a joke and somehow we ended up booking a condo for January 6th 2014 thru March 7th 2014 in Kauai Hawaii.  So we've decided to start a blog about it so all of our family and friends can be along, at least in spirit.  Unfortunately, we don't have room for all of you to actually be there with us. 
So just to get everyone up to speed on our plans.  We booked a condo on the North Shore of Kauai in Princeville.  We are right next door to the Westin Resort and Gulf Course.  Just a short walk down a path to the beach.  We checked air fare... Eyeyiiiyiii!  Not cheap to fly there.  We got the best tip from our friend Randy to sign up for an Alaska Visa card and you'll get a companion fare ticket every year for around $100.00.  Couldn't pass that up since I'm sure this won't be our last trip.  :)
